Ramses Works ("we", "us", or "our") builds apps that respect your privacy. This policy explains how we handle information across our apps, including Applowance and LANtern.

Information We Collect

We collect as little data as possible. Specifically:

• Applowance: Chore and screen time data is stored locally on your device and synced via iCloud to your family's devices. We do not have access to this data.
• LANtern: Your credentials are stored securely in the iOS Keychain. LANtern communicates directly with your controllers and accessories over your local network. We do not collect, store, or transmit your network or smart home data.

Data Storage

Your data stays on your devices. We use Apple's iCloud and CloudKit for syncing where applicable, which means your data is protected by Apple's security and privacy practices. We do not maintain our own servers that store your personal data.

Third-Party Services

Our apps may use the following third-party services:

• Apple iCloud: For data syncing across your devices.
• Apple FamilyControls: For app blocking functionality in Applowance.
• Anthropic (Claude AI): For natural language processing in LANtern.

Children's Privacy

Applowance is designed for family use. Child accounts are managed entirely through Apple's Family Sharing and Screen Time frameworks. We do not independently collect personal information from children.

Analytics

We do not use third-party analytics or tracking services. We may receive anonymized, aggregate crash reports through Apple's built-in crash reporting if you have opted in via your device settings.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
