Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using any app published by Ramses Works ("we", "us", or "our"), including Applowance and LANtern, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use our apps.

Use of Our Apps

You agree to use our apps only for their intended purposes:

  • Applowance is intended for families to manage children's screen time through a chore-based system. It must be set up and supervised by a parent or guardian.
  • LANtern is intended for managing and monitoring your own smart home. You should only use it with networks and devices you own or have authorization to manage.

Apple's Terms

Our apps are distributed through the Apple App Store. Your use of the apps is also subject to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA), which is incorporated into these terms by reference.

Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and branding associated with Ramses Works and our apps are owned by Ramses Works and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of our apps.

Disclaimers

Our apps are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Specifically:

  • Applowance relies on Apple's FamilyControls and Screen Time frameworks. We cannot guarantee these will function in all scenarios or on all device configurations.
  • LANtern provides network information and AI-assisted management as a convenience tool. It is not a substitute for professional network administration. Actions taken based on LANtern's suggestions are at your own discretion.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Ramses Works shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our apps, including but not limited to loss of data, network disruptions, or unintended screen time access.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our apps after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
